Work is now resuming on the Shelby Bly Project! I am currently working on a brand new round of concept art, a brand new website for 2020, and much more!
First off, there’s a brand new article about me and the Shelby Bly Project in Renderosity Magazine! To see the article, CLICK HERE! Thank you so very much to all at Renderosity Magazine and especially the writer, Michelle Willard.
After working on new v2020 websites for my official art site Dream 9 Studios and my personal blog The Artist in Wonderland, I decided to create a brand new and vastly improved v2020 website for the Shelby Bly Project. I’m still working on it but I hope to have the new site finished in another week or so. In addition to an improved layout and design, I will also be including brand new concept art, new behind the scenes information, and much more. This will probably be the last update on this current v2019 website as I will wait to post the next update when I migrate the new v2020 site. Stay tuned!
As I may have mentioned before, I have finished writing the story for the Shelby Bly Project (and yet still don’t have a title, LOL) and am now finalizing all concept art before I move on to creating the storyboards and then finally the illustrations. I still don’t have an exact ETA for when the novel will be finished and published. All I can say for sure is that I am back to work and working hard on this project and I won’t stop until it’s done.
The hard drive I had all of my 3D content on started to fail about a month or so ago. I bought and installed a brand new, much larger hard drive to take its place. I was unable to simply duplicate and transfer my old libraries to the new drive so that means I have been trying to find all the zip files and installers for the content I need and then installing it all onto the new drive. It’s been quite the headache but I think I now have most of what I need so far for the project installed.
That’s all for now because I need to get back to work! Just to reiterate, new website coming, new concept art coming, story is finished, storyboards will be started soon, and remember to check out that article I linked to! Thank you for viewing and your interest in the project!
